Invoicing that follows Spanish Verifactu
Companies need approved software in place by 1 January 2027. Move your invoicing from document templates and spreadsheets to a module that follows the rules from the first invoice.
How an invoice comes together
Pick the customer
You pick the customer from your records and fill in the lines. The details come along from the customer card.
The invoice locks
The invoice joins the end of the fingerprint chain when you send it. The next invoice continues that same chain.
AEAT gets its copy
The invoice goes on to AEAT through the connection. The status stays on the invoice in Bovedo.
What the module gives you
A hash chain on every invoice
Each invoice gets a fingerprint built on the one before it. The chain shows the order the invoices were created in.
A QR code on the printout
Every invoice prints with a QR code that belongs to that one invoice. The code travels with each copy the recipient receives.
The customer is already there
The invoice pulls its details from the customer card in your records. You enter a customer once and invoice them as often as you like.
All prices exclude IVA.
Common questions
What is Verifactu?
Verifactu is the Spanish rulebook for invoicing software. The rules sit in RD 1007/2023 and call for invoices to be created in approved software.
When do we need to be running?
Companies need approved software from 1 January 2027. Sole traders come in from 1 July 2027.
We write invoices in templates and spreadsheets today. How does the move go?
You start in Bovedo with the next invoice you send. You add the customers as you go, or load them from an export out of what you use today.
What happens to an invoice after I send it?
The invoice stays in the hash chain and goes on to AEAT through the connection. You find it on the customer card with the rest of the history.
